To start the Memorial Day weekend celebration, Jennifer and Jannette had hotdogs for dinner. Partly because they are trying to come up with meals for the next week using only existing ingredients out of their pantry and/or freezer. These hotdogs were grilled and turned out to be quite tasty! Don't mind the fact that Jennifer had her baked beans in a mug.

Through all of the cooking that Jennifer and Jannette has done lately, they have managed to go through an entire container of oats. Yummy!!

Jennifer found a spice packet at the store that she wanted to try. So in Jennifer's diligent attempt to get Jannette to eat more pork, it was cut up, thrown in with the spices and cubed butternut squash and apples were added to the dish. It actually turned out to be quite tasty!

April 17

Today's breakfast: parfaits. Jennifer conquered a big feat today and finally got Jannette to agree to eat Greek yogurt. The breakfast did turn out to be quite tasty!!

April 13

While doing all of our grocery shopping today both Jennifer and Jannette eyed some watermelon already cut up in the produce section. After checking it out and determining whether or not it might be too early in the season, it was picked up. Good thing it was because it turned out to be very tasty!!!

Happy St. Patrick's Day and Happy Anniversary to the parents!! As Jennifer worked today, Jannette prepared a fabulous traditional Irish dinner- corned beef and cabbage. It was super tasty!!
