I had a job interview today for a second job - it went great! I was offered the position on the spot! :)

Jannette headed to camp for the next week earlier today. She also ended up in South Carolina tonight (inadvertently) while hunting down food. Whoops!! At least she got back to camp without an issue.

Using up leftovers and various things from the fridge always feels like someone is playing Chopped! Tonight is one of those nights. But it was yummy - eggs, veggies, cheese and sour cream!

Santa dropped by the apartment last night and filled stockings - hopefully the girls were good enough to get gifts in FL... 'cause there weren't any in NC. Off to work we go!!! Merry Christmas!!!!

Jennifer and Jannette got the BEST surprise today at work! The girls are notorious for popping over to Walkertown to see Meg, Cam, and E (without warning) - and today they got a bit of their own medicine.

This little guy - and his parents - were a great Christmas Eve surprise on a hectic, busy day at the hospital and he loved all the new toys!!

Jennifer and Jannette both work Halloween night - and plan to dress up as a duo. I know - you're shocked. Tonight after returning from the ATL they dyed some pants that will be part of their Halloween costumes!

Today was day 1 of 3 of Core classes for Jannette. That doesn't mean much other than sitting in a classroom for hours listening to people talk. It was lots of fun.

September 6

Somedays it's hard being a nurse. Jennifer and Jannette headed down to Fayetteville today. During dinner it decided that it would downpour. Needless to say they got a little wet.

Jannette got her "Welcome to the Unit" present today. It has some good goodies in it!!

August 22

Tonight Jennifer and Jannette worked together. They like to wear the same shirts when they do get the chance to work together. This is them before they headed off for work!!

August 13

Jannette is the subject of today's picture! She has made it through 5 nursing shifts - 3 of which have been in a row during the day. I doubt there is any wonder in her mind now why Jennifer comes home exhuasted after working 12 hour day shifts. The girls finally got home at 11:10pm and Jannette was in bed to read ~ 11:30pm. By 11:43pm when Jennifer went in to tell her something, this is what she found.

Jannette was completely passed out asleep with her glasses still on! Haha - I think she gets it now!!
