With the tropical storm that is heading up the east coast, Cary and the surrounding areas are under a flood watch. I wonder why... our retention pond is very full!!

When all was said and done... 2 wonderful people that love each other got married! Never mind anything else... it doesn't matter.

October 15

Bands of thunderstorms moved through the area today. The clouds looked pretty cool.

September 6

Somedays it's hard being a nurse. Jennifer and Jannette headed down to Fayetteville today. During dinner it decided that it would downpour. Needless to say they got a little wet.

August 8

Over the last few days while Mom and Dad were visiting, the weather has been less than lovely. Today's storms loomed south of the apartment complex and threatened rain most of the day. Yuck!

July 10

Today at camp it rained off and on, mostly on, all day. Power was even lost for a couple of hours. Once power came back on and the sun came out the office looked like it was on fire. There was steam coming off of it. It looked pretty cool.

June 21

Over the last couple of weeks it has started to warm up out in Hendersonville. But it rained today and it helped keep the temperatures down alittle. Jannette's room has a wonderful balcony and it allowed her to get a good picture of the rain. It would have been good napping weather if she wasn't constantly called down to the lobby to look at somebody's something.

Today we had a small rainstorm roll through in the middle of the day. It had gotten so hot during the day before the rain fell that when it did the pavement spent some time smoking. It looked cool but creepy.

After an early church meeting, much needed naps, and some last minute visiting - the girls headed back to NC via Cafe Rio for one last salad! And surprise, surprise it rained on the way home again.
