It SERIOUSLY cannot be July 27th! It was 68 degrees when Jennifer left for work this morning... weird. Nice... but weird.

July 26

Today was a sad day at work for Jennifer. A child she took care of frequently passed away sort of unexpectedly. Jennifer and Jannette decided to eat out because they just weren't up to cooking. Cracker Barrel saved the day - and while baked apples don't fix a super crappy day, at least the food was good.

I had a job interview today for a second job - it went great! I was offered the position on the spot! :)

Jennifer's work shoes have finally died :( Time to find new ones!

August 11

Tonight marked the end of the first week of Jannette's orientation. Jennifer and Jannette also worked a shift together for the first time. And survived! Well, at least Jennifer did -Jannette got a headache. So as a pre-emptive strike Jannette has decided that she needs to include an occasional caffeine bevie (and animal crackers) to buffer the headache of working with Jennifer.

August 5

Tomorrow marks Jannette's first floor shift on 7 Children's!! And this is what she is taking to keep her powered through her shift. Ceil scrubs meet Jannette! Woohoo!!!

August 2

Today was Jannette's last day of nursing orientation. Next week she begins her journey as a nurse on the floor. Congratulations Jannette for making it!!
