We're home in FL and the tree is up! It may be technically after Christmas according to the rest of the world.... but since we haven't celebrated and opened presents, it's not over yet!

Spending Christmas Day in North Carolina means that we get to put presents under our tree. Wrapped and all. They will soon make the trip down to Florida to be opened.

We were all for decorating for Chrsitmas and sometimes we think that people could do a better job at it. However, you shouldn't make your porch look like Christmas threw up on it. Just sayin'.

Our favorite time of the year comes with some of the best music.

We got this wonderful Christmas card in the mail. We couldn't be more excited to be "aunts" once again. We cannot wait to meet Baby Johnson!!!

Before heading back down to North Carolina after a weekend full of holiday celebrations we stayed to see a fireside by the Mt. Vernon Stake. While waiting for the fireside to start we sat in the car and read the books that we were working on.

While up in Virginia to see the lights on the grounds of the Washington DC temple we had to make a few stops at a favorite restaurant. Cafe Rio never disappoints and they even had their own decorations out for the holiday season, ornaments and all.

After a long day at work Jannette opened her car door to a pizza and Christmas music left there by Jennifer. It was a very welcomed surprise.

Jannette came home from work tonight to see that the apartment complex had decorated for Christmas already. It was lovely to see.

It's never too early to have Christmas lights on. You'll never pick out which apartment belongs to Jennifer and Jannette.

Going into the holiday season would not be complete without a paper chain. This time it is made out of left over Christmas wrapping paper.

It may not officially be fall yet, let alone Christmas but that did not stop Jannette from sporting her Christmas PJ pants. Maybe ... she's jumping the gun ... just a bit.
