Jennifer FINALLY got to see this movie! After attempting to read the book, listen to the book on CD... I finally caved and just watched it on TV - it was pretty good but I can see why I couldn't get through it in book form...

Before heading back down to North Carolina after a weekend full of holiday celebrations we stayed to see a fireside by the Mt. Vernon Stake. While waiting for the fireside to start we sat in the car and read the books that we were working on.

Shopping. Online. Is. Evil. Especially when it involves Jannette and Deseret Book. This came for Jannette yesterday. Jennifer just rolled her eyes when she went to get the mail a little bit ago.

Jennifer finishes another book tonight. Nora Roberts has been some of the go-to books lately.

After reading "The Wedding", Jannette decided she had to read "The Notebook" to see how much was different from the movie. Boy was it different. All the major things in the movie are totally different than the book. Sooo different.

Jennifer and Jannette both made New Year's resolutions to read a book a month for the year - so far, both have kept up averaging a book a month. Jennifer was taking inventory to see if she needed to buy any more books to get her through the rest of the year. This doesn't take into account books Jannette owns or books that are on the hallway shelf - she found this stack, just in her room:

She started Chasing Harry Winston a while back but has decided to read it again from start to finish since it's been a while. The others need to be read so she's set for the rest of the year - yay for reading!!!
