Plants on our porch have been purchased (for the most part- still missing cilantro) and planted. Fingers crossed for them to actually grow.

Pretty flowers greeted us when we got back from Florida. We were surprised that they were still alive.

November 13

Years ago when Jennifer first attended college she met a girl named Lia. Lia was adorable, spunky, and generally amazing. One of the most random memories she has of Lia however, is the paperwhites she used to grow in her room - from a bulb she received from home. Jennifer saw a paperwhite growing kit today while shopping and decided to buy one. Because it reminded her of her sweet friend Lia.

Happy First Day of Spring! Tulips adorn our apartment and our seeds are sprouting. Jennifer and Jannette are trying to plant a small garden of herbs (basil, cilantro and parsley), tomatoes and watermelon on their back porch. Time will tell just how green their thumbs are.

It's not offically Spring yet. But the trees across the street from the apartment are blooming. The tiny white flowers that are beautiful!
