This is the kind of thing that makes Jennifer laugh. She was making a marinade for some pork and happened to make this with some of the ingredients.

Jennifer in her quest to make some food decided that smoking up the kitchen was a good idea too. With the smoke this is what the kitchen looked like.

Tonight for dinner Jennifer and Jannette made something yummy! This tasty meal was part of the diet they're doing in combo with WW: Spicy Sausage Pasta with sauteed garlic zucchini and squash. The WHOLE apartment smelled like an Italian mother's kitchen at dinnertime - it was pretty amazing. This will definitely be made again!

Jennifer wanted to try a new recipe out- ricotta gnocchi. It's supposed to be made out of potato but to save carbs it was made out of ricotta cheese. They didn't quite turn out. They weren't bad but they weren't the best. Lessons in Italian cooking may be needed.

Quite yummy - not exactly right, but extremely close (thanks to this site: http://coffincm1972.xomba.com/deep_kettle_house_chili_recipe) - especially the dippers... cheesey goodness!!!
Here's the recipe for the Deep Kettle House Chili:
