Happy Independence Day!!!!
Today at the Kanuga Conference Center they put on a firework show. It wasn't spectacular but it was pretty fun!

April 19

The geese are moving in on us!! They usually stay within the gates of the pond, usually. However, today they were being very noisy (read: more than usual) so Jennifer and Jannette went out on the porch to see what was going on. The geese were no longer by the pond. One was standing on the gazebo and the other was walking down the sidewalk.

March 21

For the last couple of days it has been thunderstorming quite a bit. To the point that it has woken both Jennifer and Jannette up out of a dead sleep. You would think that with all the thunder it would have driven the geese out of the retention pond. These geese are around honking until 3-4am. At least now there is only 2 of them, at one time when we first moved in there were 13. They are so annoying. Meet our friends the geese.

Ps. The yellow stuff in the water is pollen- it's everywhere right now.
