It's been so hot in North Carolina this week. As a result there have been lots of storms. In the midst of this we lost power which is so fun seeing as the air conditioning needs power to run. Also, in the middle of cooking dinner is when the power decided to go out. So as ribs and jalapeno's sat in the oven to finish cooking (hopefully) Jannette went back to packing.

Jannette caved yesterday and turned on the A/C. The predicted high in Cary was 92 stinkin' degrees so it was time!! Today, the apartment was kept a comfy 78 degrees - or close to it - thanks to air conditioning. I'm seriously impressed that we both lasted until May before turning it on - with the warm winter we had, I thought it'd be mid-March!
